Lead to Read KC
Lead to Read KC was founded in 2011 by two former teachers, Lynn and Jean Rundle, who were passionate about helping children succeed. After years of mentoring and tutoring teens who struggled in school, they realized the problem wasn’t just that the kids weren’t reading; it was that reading didn’t seem relevant to them.

Church World Service
We have one goal: building a world where there is enough for all
For 80 years, we’ve been transforming communities through just and sustainable responses to hunger, poverty, displacement and disaster. Our vision is a world where everyone has food, voice and a safe place to call home.
Since our founding, we’ve welcomed thousands of refugees, helped families keep food on the table and advocated for those too often left out. Our history proves what we believe: we can always do more together than we can alone.
UNICEF
UNICEF is on the ground across the globe, delivering help for the children who need it most.
